When Pressure Hits

People rarely struggle because they do not know what good performance looks like. The real test comes when pressure changes the conditions and the behaviors an organization thought it could count on suddenly have to prove they can hold.

In When Pressure Hits, CHRISTOPH merrill helps leaders and teams examine the gap between knowing the standard and executing it consistently when the environment gets harder. Drawing on more than 1,533 days on stage, decades of operating and coaching experience, and his ongoing work around workforce habits, CHRISTOPH gives audiences a practical way to think about the behaviors they need to be able to count on before pressure arrives.

The result is a high-energy, highly interactive keynote designed to move the room from good intentions to more reliable execution.

Identify the behaviors that matter most under pressure.
Recognize where execution becomes inconsistent.
Commit to a behavior the team can deliberately reinforce.

One Habit Away

Most people do not need another list of things they should start doing. They already know more than enough.

One Habit Away is a fast-moving, interactive keynote built around a simpler question: what is the one behavior that, if repeated consistently, would create the biggest difference in the result that matters right now?

CHRISTOPH merrill takes audiences through the habits they already know, the ones they keep avoiding, and the behaviors worth strengthening. The session is designed to help people leave with a clearer commitment and a practical next move instead of another page of notes they will never reopen.

Cut through habit overload and identify what matters now.
Recognize behaviors that are helping or slowing momentum.
Leave with one clear behavior to reinforce next.
Research · Leadership · Workforce

The Benchmark Reveal

The Benchmark Reveal is the future keynote experience built around findings from The State of Workforce Habits.

Once the research is published, CHRISTOPH will bring the findings into the room and connect the data to the real-world behavior leaders and teams are trying to improve.

The State of Workforce Habits is currently in progress, so this session will become available after the findings are released.

AV + Room Setup

Production Should Be the Easy Part. Here’s What I Need.

Forward this section directly to your production team. Nothing exotic, nothing difficult, and very little that needs special ordering.

Primary Microphone
CHRISTOPH travels with his own Countryman headset microphone. Your AV team only needs to confirm compatibility with the house wireless system.
Audience Microphone
Please provide one wireless handheld microphone for audience interaction and floor work. In larger rooms, a mic runner is helpful but not required.
Stage Access
Clear access from the stage into the audience is important. CHRISTOPH regularly works from the floor, so stairs or another safe pathway into the room should remain open.
House Lights
Please keep the room bright enough for CHRISTOPH to see faces. The interaction is part of the keynote, and it does not work well in a dark room.
Confidence Monitor
A confidence monitor is appreciated, but not required.
Slides
If slides are used, the final presentation file will be coordinated with your production contact before the session.
Hospitality
Nothing special is required. Water on or near the stage is plenty. CHRISTOPH has the rest handled.
Headset CHRISTOPH brings his own
Handheld One wireless mic for the room
Floor Access Keep a clear path into the audience
Need a production call before the event? Happy to Do One.

Working Together

No Mystery. No Runaround. Just Straight Answers.

The goal is to make the booking process as easy as the event should feel once CHRISTOPH gets there.

Fit
If CHRISTOPH is not the right fit for the audience, the theme, or the outcome you are trying to create, he will tell you. Better to make the right choice early than force the wrong keynote into the room.
Fees
Fees vary by format, travel, session length, and event requirements. Send the date, audience, location, and format you are considering and you will get a clear quote.
Courtesy Holds
Considering multiple speakers? A courtesy hold can be placed while your team makes the decision. If another organization asks for the same date, you get the first opportunity to confirm or release it.
Travel
Travel is quoted clearly before the agreement is signed. CHRISTOPH typically manages his own travel so your team is not chasing receipts or coordinating changing itineraries.
Speakers Bureaus
Already working with a bureau? Keep working with them. CHRISTOPH is happy to work through your bureau, and booking through one does not create a different experience for your organization.
Communication
Questions go directly to CHRISTOPH. The objective is simple: you should never have to wonder whether your speaker saw the message.
01 Send the Basics

Date, location, audience, and what you want the room to do differently.

02 Confirm the Fit

Talk through the event, format, fee, and anything your team needs answered.

03 Lock the Date

Agreement signed, deposit handled, and the pre-event work begins.

Ready to see if the date and the room are a fit? Start With the Date.
One Last Thing

Your Speaker Should Make Your Job Easier. That Starts Before the Stage.

If you have the date, the audience, and a sense of what you want the room to do differently, that is enough to start the conversation.

Make the event easier to plan. Make the message harder to forget.
